BOTOX® Cosmetic

Description: Cosmetic uses for Botox® include treating common signs of aging, such as, the horizontal lines on the forehead, vertical lines between the eyebrows and on the bridge of the nose, fine lines or crows feet at the corners of the eyes, smoothing the bags underneath the eyes, lifting the brow and opening the eye, and the muscle bands often visible on the neck – otherwise known as “turkey neck”. What to Expect: During Botox treatment, which takes only minutes, small doses of Botox are injected into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe wrinkles and frown lines.   The muscle then relaxes, creating a smooth surface that lasts about three to six months before the muscle recovers its original strength. Even after the original effects of Botox® are gone the lines that are left behind are not as deep and don’t return to their original severity.

Expected Final Outcome: Within days, you will notice an improvement in the treated area, leaving you with a natural more youthful appearance. A Follow-up appointment is usually recommended after 2 weeks to determine if any touch-ups are necessary. A Follow-up treatment is normally recommended after 4-6 months.

Radiesse®

Radiesse dermal filler treatment is injected under the skin in a continuous stream into the appropriate facial planes for augmentation and correction.  Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. 

Expected Final Outcome: Radiesse treatment has little to no down time and in most cases patients can return to normal activities almost immediately after treatment.  Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last up to a year!!! Juvéderm™ Ultra & Juvéderm™ Ultra Plus

Description:Juvederm is a smooth consistency gel made out of hyaluronic acid-a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration.  Juvederm is injected under the skin to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds.  They are especially effective on smile lines and "parentheses" (nasolabial folds) that run from the bottom of the nose to the sides of the mouth.

What to Expect: Treatment takes only 15-30 minutes with immediate results and no downtime. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. 

Expected Final Outcome: You should see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas.  Most patients need only one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing.  Results typically last about 9-12 months. Follow-up appointment is recommended at 6 weeks to determine if any touch ups are necessary. A follow-up appointment is recommended.
