Microdermabrasion

Description: Microdermabrasion rejuvenates and revitalizes your skin in just an afternoon! Microdermabrasion uses a fine jet of crystals to gently and painlessly exfoliate your skin while vacuum suction removes the crystals along with the dead skin cells. You are left with new, softer skin and a more even skin texture.

In addition to surface exfoliation, microdermabrasion promotes the production of new cells in the basal (deepest) layer of the dermis; it cleans the pores, and stimulates collagen networking that can further improve skin texture.

Microdermabrasion can be successfully used on light or dark skin to treat the face, neck, chest, arms, elbows, knees and hands. Microdermabrasion is generally intended for:

• Fine Lines and Wrinkles
• Age Spots, Sun Damage and Hyper-Pigmentation
• Acne Scars, Chickenpox Scars and Scratch Marks
• Congested Skin, Enlarged Pores and Blemishes
• Dull Skin

What to Expect: A treatment typically takes anywhere from 8-10 minutes, however the entire procedure including pre and post treatment protocols is 30-40 minutes. A pre treatment is applied to skin, once skin is dry the microdermabrasion machine is used to exfoliate the area, a post treatment of a hydrating B5 masque, moisturizer, and sunscreen are then applied. Responses vary from person to person but is commonly said to be more tolerable than getting waxed.

Expected Final Outcome: It is recommended to do a series of 4-6 treatments to achieve the best results. Immediately following your first treatment your skin will have a vibrant healthy appearance as well as an incredibly smooth texture. Treatments should be done once every 7-10 days for the first 4-5 treatments. From there a maintenance schedule of once every 4-6 weeks is usually recommended. You will see improvement in skin tone, lightening of acne scars, photo damaged skin, congested skin, dull skin, fine lines and wrinkles and more.

Medical Grade Peel

Description: A medical grade peel is for the client looking for a deeper peel. The B-LIFTx® peel offers 2 options; a 20 percent salicylic acid peel or a 30 percent salicylic acid peel. The B-LIFTx® peel is a unique formulation containing salicylic acid with patented microsponge® technology. The microsponge® allows the peel to facilitate an even application. This peel dissolves the "glue" that binds the dead cells together on the surface of your skin, and lifts those dead cells away revealing the fresh cells underneath.

What to Expect: If you wear contact lenses you will be asked to remove them. Your skin will be wiped with a precleanse pad to remove oils and cellular debris from the surface of your skin. The B-LIFTx® peel application takes about 30 seconds to one minute. During the first minute or two after application, you will experience some minor discomfort which will increase as the B-LIFTx® penetrates your skin and begins to stimulate renewal. Simultaneously, a translucent mask will gradually appear on your face. Four to Five minutes after application the mask will be fully formed and discomfort will reduce to zero. The mask is rinsed off with cool water or a gentle cleanser.

Expected Final Outcome: The initial treatment will remove dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. Your skin will appear more radiant and feel softer and smoother. In addition you may begin to notice a softening of superficial lines, evening of pigmentation, fading of dark spots, and diminution of enlarged pores and acne induced scars. Conditions such as acne or rosacea may also improve. For the next 7-10 days post peel, your skin may be more red than usual. You may experience slight stinging, burning, itching, or peeling during this time.
